Some trees can be saved. Some cannot. When a tree is dead, structurally compromised, or sitting too close to your house to be safe, removal is the right call, and doing it safely takes more than a chainsaw and a ladder.

When a Tree Needs to Come Down
Dead or mostly dead, with no leaf-out in spring
Major trunk cracks, cavities, or visible decay at the base
Leaning suddenly, or with soil heaving on one side of the root plate
Large limbs failing repeatedly with no structural fix available
Hollow trunks where failure would hit a house, car, or power line
Advanced hypoxylon canker or oak wilt with no path to recovery
Root damage from construction that has destabilized the tree
If we look at it and think the tree can be saved, we will tell you that. Removal is not always the answer, and we would rather keep you as a customer for the next twenty years.
How a Removal Works
Every job starts with an assessment of the tree, the target zone, and what is around it. A tree in an open yard can often come down in one piece. A tree wedged between a house and a fence line comes down in sections, rigged and lowered piece by piece.
Once the tree is down we clear the debris and leave the site clean.
Stump Grinding
Removing the tree leaves the stump. We grind stumps below grade so you can sod over the spot, replant, or simply stop mowing around it.
Permits and HOA Approval
Requirements vary across the Houston area. Some municipalities regulate removal of protected trees, and many HOAs require approval before a significant tree comes down. We will flag it if we think your removal needs approval before we start.
